HomeAre you the storyteller we are looking for?

Are you the storyteller we are looking for?

Are you a storyteller and a dreamcatcher?

If you think you are, we want you to join our small and nimble Strategic Communication team in Islamabad as Senior Associate Content and Design.

The Dream:

More than a nonprofit, Teach For Pakistan is a  growing movement to end educational inequity across Pakistan.  More than 60 independent national organizations like the TFP are part of a global community called  Teach For All. Our mission is to provide quality education to every child to build a talent pipeline of leaders to drive transformation in education, in schools and communities, and across the wider system impacting citizens’ lives.

Kitney Aadmi Hein’ (How many?):

A team of 34 is currently working with 155 fresh graduates from top universities in Pakistan whom we call ‘Fellows’. They are teaching 10,000+ students in 60 government schools in the underserved communities around Islamabad. So far 183 Fellows have completed a two-year teaching assignment and moved on to myriad careers. We call them Alumni and continuously work with them in bringing transformational change from within sectors as diverse as government ministries, public departments, curriculum development wings, academia, the corporate sector, nonprofits, and the IFIs, etc.

‘What’s in it for me’ you ask:

While it is extremely fulfilling and gives you a great sense of achievement to work with children from low-income communities and enable them to dream big and help Pakistan realize its true potential, it is perfectly natural to ask, ‘then what?’

Opportunities galore:

After getting such a grassroots-level developmental experience, our staff, Fellows, and Alumni regularly land tremendous international scholarships including at Ivy League universities. Their career trajectories get turbo boosted and as our Alumni they practice a lifelong commitment to producing loving, thinking, and engaged citizens. At Teach For Pakistan, we have a culture of respect, appreciation, excellence, and professionalism; working hard and enjoying harder. We have zero tolerance for discrimination in any form. We stand by each other and toxicity is banned.
